You’ll likely see me at Design Thinkers.

But most of my work happens alongside agencies, brands and individuals.

I collaborate on campaigns, brand imagery, and portraits designed to live well beyond a single moment, supporting everything from initial concept through to final delivery.

With an agency background in creative direction, I’m always thinking about how imagery functions beyond the frame. How it supports a campaign. How it lives across platforms. How it helps tell a more cohesive story over time.

A selection of work

I’m used to working closely with creative teams, stepping into projects at different stages and adapting to what’s needed.

My process is structured, but flexible.
From early conversations and pre-production decks through to time on set and final delivery, I aim to make things feel clear, collaborative, and easy to move through.

I’ve repeatedly been told my approach is calm and reassuring in front of clients, especially in presentations and on set. That sense of clarity carries through the entire process.

How I approach the work.

What it feels like on set.

On set, I keep things grounded.

I give direction when it’s needed, and step back when it’s not. I’m attentive to what’s happening in between, where the most honest moments tend to show up.

Working with real people, not just models, is a big part of my practice. Creating space for that to feel natural often changes everything.

A few words from clients.

"Kateland's years of experience as a Creative Director are a huge plus, as she's able to really envision the wider goals of a campaign, as well as collaborate effectively with clients. We can't wait to work with her again!"

If you’re building something and need imagery that feels considered, human, and grounded in real connection, I’d love to connect.

Let’s start the conversation.
