Portraits that feel like you.
I’m not interested in the polished version of you—the one that knows how to smile on cue. I want the version that shows up as you are. Honest. Curious. Maybe a little unsure. That’s where the magic happens.
My portrait sessions are simple by design. Natural light, minimal gear, no fuss. Just time, space, and a gentle kind of presence that allows something real to come through. Whether you're an artist, creative, or documenting a season of change, this is about making space for you to be seen.
We slow down
on purpose.
I believe the best portraits come from presence. That means slowing down, paying attention, and being open to where the shoot takes us. I don’t arrive with rigid expectations—we’ll work together to create space for comfort, connection, and maybe even a little vulnerability.
I’ll help guide you when needed, but I’m not looking for perfection. I’m looking for you—in all your natural, human expression. That’s where the beauty lives.
Setting the tone
Ahead of your session, I’ll send a short questionnaire to get a feel for you—what you’re drawn to and how you want to feel in the images. We’ll also build a shared Pinterest board to spark ideas. This part helps us find the tone together, before the camera even comes out.

Finding your place
The setting plays a big role in how a portrait feels. We can shoot at my studio in Vancouver, in your home, or out in a space that means something to you. If you’re not sure where to start, I’m happy to suggest locations that offer beautiful light and a quiet sense of presence.
The final touch
After the shoot, you’ll receive a proofing gallery where you can choose your favourite images for editing. Each one will be carefully refined and delivered in high resolution. I edit with a light hand, keeping things true to tone, and true to you.
In the moment
The session itself is calm, intentional, and a little bit intuitive. We’ll take our time, follow the light, and ease into it. I’ll guide gently when needed, but I’m just as comfortable sitting in silence and letting something honest unfold. No pressure to perform—just space to be.
