Work that’s grounded in real connection.
I’ve been capturing WNORTH this week, moving through conversations, quiet moments, and everything in between.
My work lives in that same space. The unposed, the intentional, the moments that carry meaning long after they’ve passed.
Whether it’s a personal brand, a growing business, or a larger campaign, the focus is always the same. Creating imagery that feels honest, grounded, and deeply human.
If you’ve seen me with a camera, this is what that translates into.
A selection of work
How I show up.
I bring more than a camera into a space.
With a background in creative direction, I understand how to shape imagery with intention, while staying present enough to capture what’s real.
I’m calm, observant, and intuitive in how I work. Creating an environment where people feel at ease, seen, and able to show up as themselves.
It’s often in that space that the most meaningful images are made.
A few words from clients.
“Kateland understands the vision and gives clear direction and guidance during the whole process. Her work speaks for itself, but the human touch that she adds to the whole experience makes it very enjoyable.”
– Nina Leung, Marketing & Communications, Macdonald Realty"Kateland was a dream to work with. Her keen eYe for design and strong aesthetic sensibilities shone through in the photos. We were blown away by both the variety and quality of the final gallery!"
– Marie Gosal, Executive Design Director, Engine Digital"Kateland's years of experience as a Creative Director are a huge plus, as she's able to really envision the wider goals of a campaign, as well as collaborate effectively with clients."
– Chloe Jung, Art Director, Pound & GrainIf you felt something in these images, that’s usually where the best work begins. I’d love to hear what you’re building.
